After three years as the Chef at CrossRoads, I have decided that it is time for me to transition into the next step of my career. God is always good, and after much prayer and discussion with Hannah, I accepted the position as the Head Chef for Graze on Main in Wytheville VA.
I’ve greatly enjoyed and appreciated the opportunities I’ve had to serve the hundreds of guests and young people over the past few years. I will deeply miss the relationships that have been developed at CrossRoads. I am thankful for each and every guest group, volunteer, summer camper, summer staff and counselor, and CrossRoads and WMUV staff member that I have had the pleasure to work with and serve over the years. I am grateful to CrossRoads and the Women’s Missionary Union of Virginia for mentoring and encouraging me in this position. Before I came to CrossRoads, I was fresh out of Culinary School working as a line cook. I was looking for the one organization that would take a chance on me, and I am eternally grateful to CrossRoads and the WMUV for taking that chance. I’ve become a better Chef, leader, and manager because of my experiences in this role, and I will be able to take these key tools with me in this new adventure.

I wish CrossRoads and the WMUV continued success, and I hope to stay in touch in the future.
